Booking Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing to book with SloveniaCyclingTrips.com. We look forward to welcoming you. By making this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our booking terms and conditions below.

Reservations

Reservations can be made on our website or by e-mail. Still, confirmation of your booking will not be made until a booking form is completed and full payment is received at least 60 days prior to your arrival. Exceptions can be made individually as agreed in writing with an individual representing themselves or a group with Slovenia Cycling Trips.

We cannot guarantee any availability on the required date and time before the payment or deposit is finalized.

Acceptance of Children

We welcome children to attend Slovenia Cycling Trips holidays with their parents. The minimum age to join a group riding activity is 16 years of age.

Prices

The price of group cycling and accommodation booking includes half board accommodation (breakfast and dinner where available) and the availability of a cycling based activity on each full day of your stay. Slovenia Cycling Trips reserve the right to change bike activities based on weather and road conditions and the individual abilities of the rider.

Payment

All our prices are in EURO (€). A 30% deposit is required. The full balance should be paid at least 60 days before your tour departure. If the client fails to cover all payments due (including all fees if any) in full within 7 days of receiving a reminder, we reserve the right to treat the booking as canceled by the client.

Cancellation and Insurance

Slovenia Cycling Trips reserves the right to cancel, change or modify any facilities without notice, including changing or altering venues, routes and prices. In the event of a change, Slovenia Cycling Trips will endeavor to substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value without compensation and accept no liability for loss of enjoyment as a result of these changes. All this is done for the best possible experience of our clients.

If you are not able to attend a tour or an activity, or we are unable to offer a tour or activity, due to a circumstance beyond our control or a force majeure event, Slovenia Cycling Trips has no responsibility for cancellations, and you will not be entitled to any refunds.

If the client fails to have proper gear which is required for a certain tour/activity, Slovenia Cycling Trips or their representative reserves the right to refuse the client’s participation in the tour/activity, without a chance of refund.

By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract. If you cancel more than 60 days before departure 70% of your total booking price will be refundable.  If you cancel your booking 60-45 days prior to your arrival, 30% of your total booking price will be refundable. If you cancel your booking less than 45 days before your arrival you are liable to pay for the booking in full and you should defer to the terms and conditions of your holiday insurance to seek reimbursement.

Refunds cannot exceed the amount you have paid at the time of cancellation, and any outstanding balance owed to us is also accounted for. If you owe any remaining balance, it will be deducted from your refund. For example, if you have only paid a 30% deposit and canceled 65 days before departure, you will not receive a refund, as 70% of the trip costs were still outstanding. If you paid the full amount, you would get refunded 70%. We will issue the refund within 15 working days from the day after the cancellation.

We highly recommend purchasing reliable travel insurance that includes cancellation coverage. We may recommend  World Nomads and Campbell Irvine as a good choice.

It is a condition of your booking that you have travel insurance that covers road cycling related activity and that these documents with emergency telephone numbers are made available to Slovenia Cycling Trips staff on arrival at your holiday.

Road Transportation

Slovenia Cycling Trips does not accept responsibility for loss, damage or injury whilst using road transportation to or from cycling activities. This includes any delay due to mechanical breakdown or traffic related incidents. Slovenia Cycling Trips will do its best to provide alternative travel arrangements should such incidents arise.

Non-availability of Accommodation

We will only cancel your holiday if your accommodation is unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We will however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this is not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we will refund all amount paid for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Safety

All clients are responsible for their own safety and well-being. We don’t encourage any of our clients to engage in any dangerous activity. SloveniaCyclingTrips.com cannot accept any responsibility if the client for example engages in dangerous activities and suffers injury, illness, death, loss or damage as a result.

All participants should thoroughly evaluate their physical and mental capacities for participation in tours before their booking. In case of incapability, we maydeny the client’s participation.

Privacy

By making a booking every client agrees that Slovenia Cycling Trips has the right to publish all the photos and videos which were made during the program in promotional and commercial purposes and post them on social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, etc.. If the client does not agree, they should state that before the beginning of a tour/activity.

Arrival

Your accommodation will be available to you from 16.00 on the day of arrival unless you have contacted us to arrange an earlier check-in time at the time of booking.

Departure

Please vacate your room by 10:00 on the day of departure.
